What Is Tint Strip?

Tint Strip is a high-performance adhesive remover designed for safe and effective removal of window tint film while being safe for most if not all vehicle interior surfaces.  It can also be used for vinyl and PPF adhesive, but it shines when removing window tint adhesive. Engineered for professional use, it rapidly breaks down residual glue without damaging glass, defroster lines, or sensitive interior surfaces—making it a must-have in every installer’s toolkit.

StepBy-Step

  • Prep the Surface
        • Ensure glass surface is cool to the touch: use mist of water to help quicken this proces.
        • For rear windows, ensure defroster lines are intact.

  • Apply Tint Strip
        • Spray directly onto adhesive residue or exposed film to the point of "soaked"
        • Let it dwell for 60–90 seconds (do not let it dry)

  • Agitate + Remove
        • Use a plastic razor or white scrub pad to loosen material
        • Reapply as needed for stubborn areas, each time giving the chemical time to penetrate the adhesive

  • Final Clean
        • Rinse with water or a mild glass cleaner
        • Wipe down with a clean microfiber towel
